Inquiry Projects

This week we started our group projects for Inquiry. The students are in groups of three and are creating a presentation on one particular organ of their choice.

Mandarin

Today in Mandarin we were learning to write our numbers. Look how focused and engaged we all are.

Liu Laoshi has been teaching us how to count to 10 in Mandarin.  Here are the numbers if you want to practise with us.

The Strongest Mouse

During reading last week we read a book called 'The Strongest Mouse'. Some of us have created our own strong mouse. Come and visit Room 7 to let us know what you think.

Science Friday

Every Friday we have science news. Here are a collection of  some of the things students have shared with each other. The learning that has taken place so far has been so fantastic and each week the class is so excited to discover what they are going to be learning next.

Our Organs

Last week we had a closer look at the brain and heart. We are challenging ourselves to learn as many facts about these organs as we can. What do you know about your brain or heart?

Over the last two weeks of school we will be becoming organ experts. We will choose one organ to focus on and will then share this in the form of a book, poster, slideshow, or mobile. We cannot wait to share our end product.
